Never been. Who has, how hard of a trail is it?
Looking at going out on 26th. My truck on 42's and Kylon's toy on 38's both locked front and rear.

I'm in... keep this thread updated. We've been talking about doing that trail all summer. I hear its relatively difficult, but how bad can it be right... you guys all have winches right?

Last time I was one that trail, all 4 rigs had 36's locked front and rear. I was open in the front.. It was a day from hell for me.
but the trail is pretty easy, if it's dry. If wet it can get nasty...
I stripped the splines on a front axle shaft, Broke a hub, Spit my rear blocks out, broke a Driveshaft ujoint, and a couple other things.. In 2 spots..
I'll locate some pictures of it back about 6 years ago and post them up tommarow for ya.

FWIW IMO:
Trip plans should have the date of the event in the subject line.
edited: (lol now that makes my post seem silly!) Thanks for adding the date!

That would be cool... I've never done this trail, but I've heard its worthy.

Is this going to be an overnight trip or a day trip? Either way I would be interested in going. Who all is planning on going?

I wish I was. My boy has a school event that he needs to attend this saturday so I am going to have to bow out from this one. Sorry guys. Post pictures though, I will make this trail someday!

Looks like my dad's Toyota will be done but he wants to break it it on a easy trail this weekend. This will be his first "wheeling" adventure in his own rig so I am taking him to King River to see how he likes it.
He wants to do something this weekend just nothing "crazy" (which means mud/swamp) as of yet lol. At least I got him in his own rig and willing to pick up he sport:sifone:

Welp... anyone even know where the trail head for this is? I'd be down to head it up, but I don't even know where it is.... :ihih:
If we do go, it will be a Sat-Sunday overnighter, FYI :yikes: So bring some warm clothing

We need to do some more research on this trail before we barge down it. We can get to a certain point, and then the logistics become sketchy (from who I consider a reliable source.). It is passable, but there are some sections where the ownership becomes clowded somewhat. We don't want to pick the wrong route, and wind up in someones backyard, especially back there....
Just my .02. Obviously, anyone is more than welcome to go check it out and see what the deal is (Which we may do at some point), but at this point, I don't think its a good idea to blindly head out that way....
Again, just my opinion.
If anyone has any info regarding these concerns, please post up. :patriot:

Well... I think we're going to check this out. There is an easement for this trail up to a certain point, from there apparently the no go spots are marked.
Is anyone still up for this run? Go up Saturday, come back Sunday?

??? No one going to make this run?
Found the trail head today, and the head of another trail I'd like to check out while out there....
Well, I think I'm going regardless. Looks pretty bad ass back there...
Tony, George wanted me to let you know that he would've went if he was in town. Maybe in a few weeks if weather permits you all can do another run to Sheep Creek.
