Heres the ol girl. I sure love this truck so far. Plans are to lift it so I can fit those 35's properly, Gears, Engine clean/tune up, and when the frickin tranny finally dies, rebuild it. Heres my first trip out since I've been in Cordova. The weather was great, so I even pulled the top off!

Making sure the 4WD worked like it should.

I wouldn't mind swapping in a bigger engine down the road. This 302 keeps impressing me every time i take it out tho. Maybe i'll just drive it till it dies, then swap in a 351. I really want to get it lifted up before I damage a fender.

First time I've had the top off, and it was great! 3 days of beautiful weather. then a mad dash to put it back on. Altho I did luck out and didn't have a single leak! Even after 7 days of down pour.

I know, I've heard the horror stories. 2 seconds after I did it, I remembered how much it rains here. I think if your careful when you put it back on, and your seals are in good shape, you'd be ok. I already planned on if the seal failed, I was just going to silicone the seam down to the bed rail, then put all new seals in over the winter.

Dont I wish! Too spendy for me right now. Now if we get say 5 days of sunny weather, might be worth the investment! lol

Spoke WAY too soon. Opened the truck up the other day and all the carpet was soaked and starting to smell. :incazzato: So everything came out, seats, carpet and trim. Got it all cleaned out and just put the seats back in. I'm thinking now is a good time to rhino line the inside, and finish some painting on the inside while I wait for some gaskets to arrive. It was nice to see there wasn't any rust on the floor boards anywhere. Luckily I was planning on stripping the carpet out anyways.
