Hey all, I'm going to be in Anchorage for a little bit and was wondering if there are any pull a part, u-pull it places in the area. Just looking for some Bronco parts (nothing in particular) while I am here and have access to it.

OH and maybe someplace close to EAFB that i could take the bronco out and play without pissing anyone off. The neighbors here dont seem to like the loudness of the exhaust. :rolleyes5: Nothing hardcore, just someplace safe to spin around on the ice. This is my first winter in this area ( and with this truck) and I want to get a better feel for the truck on ice. :auto: Thanks for the help!

I don't know.. I know there are some trails on EAFB, but I don't know what the access restrictions are. Dougie may know.?

As far as pull a part. In wasilla, theres a place called Night and Day recovery. They run a "Sorta" pick and pull yard. Bring your own tools, and they usually let you have a look around. There number is 357-7775. Tell them on the phone that you're looking for bronco parts, and they'll give you an idea of what they have.

Most of the wheeling in South Central takes place in the Valley, about an hour north of Anchorage.

How long you gunna be in town?

Well, my wife just delivered our twin boys on the 5th :willy_nilly: LOL Everyone is doing great, but the kiddos will be in the NICU for atleast another 3-4 weeks. So I will be here hopefully just as long. So HOPEFULLY there wont be any harm in getting out for a few hours and playing with the truck in between hospital visits!

Congrats on the babies. Good luck with twins. :) As for trails on Base, ATV trails are all that we have and in order to ride on Base there is a class that has to be taken. I'm not too familiar with all the trails around here but I believe Knik would be the closest.

lol, thanks. It's going to be fun for the next 18 years!

The hospital wont let our daughter in to see the boys at all, so me and the wife have to visit them alone while the other stays with our daughter. I am trying to do my visits early morning, and late afternoon.

Honestly I don't know how long I could get away for. If you have a rough time frame, I could see what i can do. I don't know how well the bronco will do, and I am hardly geared up for much of anything. (haven't even got a spare tire yet!) How far from EAFB is it?

Knik is about an 45 min away.. maybe an hour depending on traffic

However, it is very easy going once there, and you'd have the ability to have at it... I'd go, bring my DD out there for a bit if your interested... maybe on Sunday?

Let me see if the wife will give me a liberty pass. Sounds fun! I'm not familar with the area other than the base and getting to the hospital, so whats a good time, and where should I meet you at?

Things get a little hectic here and there, so if I dont get back to you before then, something came up and maybe we could reschedule?
