Dan (Grape Ape), Alex (goul6891), and my self met up at Palmer Carrs aroun 12:30, and headed to Knik for a quick afternoon run. What supposed to be a quick jaunt to Jim Creek, turned out to be a quick jaunt to Metal Creek.
Most of the water crossings were frozen over pretty good, no real break throughs to speak of. The snow was not very deep, but we did find the occasional drift that claimed Dan and I. Alex, although falling behind at times, made the entire trip without issue. We made it back out before 4PM... thats got to be some kind of record... :yesnod:
It was a fun run, and I'm glad we got out of there before it started getting dark, because it is COLD out now.... :rolleyes5:

Followed a trooper from the parking lot all the way to the island. I was kinda on his at times... but he was moving pretty good :auto:
