Have you guys seen this? They have an episode on Arctic Man right now... its pretty funny how they dramatize Alaska as the "Wild west"... :angelsad2:

Yeah it's been on for awhile a now. I think some of the stuff is pretty accurate though. It's really interesting to see how things work in those small villages. Living around Anchorage or the Valley is not really that different than anywhere else but out there is like a different world.

They made Arctic man out to be some kind of crazy wild west wintertime festival... which it is not. Yes, its a big party... but its not like people are dieing all the time.... and going missing, etc.... stupid discovery channel
