Myself and Tony decided to check out King River area for a possible location for the New Year's run. We came to a quick decision.....Way to much snow!:nonod: You would think the large amount of snow machine trailers in the parking lot would have been a dead give away but we decided to truck down and check it out for ourselves!:willy_nilly:
About as far as we got was the first little hill leading up trail head. It is safe to say there is still a good 2-3 feet of snow. So if your looking for a good place to go sledding...this is the place!
After our little adventure me, the wife, and kid took the sleds out for a little ride around KGB area for a bit and had a bonfire. Will post a little trip thread on that later:thumbsup: Nice warm weather to get out and enjoy Alaska!!
