Weekend or better trails

Obviously, you can make a week out of a Eureka run (Especially if the weather is shitty), and boulder can be a 3-4 day'r as well.


Purches upper and lower can be a good 3 day'r... or trying to connect the upper trail with the sheep creek trail, I could see being a 3-4 dayer (If you can find the trail, It may not be this year, but at some point I'd like to come in from the Sheep Creek side and try to tie them together).

Any other trails out there that you guys are furmiluar with that could be made into a 3-4... (or even longer) day trip?

Has anyone ever ran the Hicks Creek trail? A buddy of mine said he did it on a quad years ago, and that he doesn't think a truck would fit very well down that trail. Anyone been on it recently?

A few of us are going to be spending a few days in that area doing some exploring, see what we can come up with for new trails (New to us anyway).

Well I went and scoped out the Pinnochle-Hicks trail head today. It does not look bad at all... atleast the first 100 yards or so of it. I couldn't take the Jeep down it at all as it looked like it was buggy territory... pretty wet/soft in spots.

Anyone know much about this trail? We may be planning a trip to this trail in the next couple of weeks to go find out... :grouphug:
