Im thinking Nancy Lake, unless there are any better idea's. Not sure if the rigs can drive on the lake. I will look into it and see if there are any restrictions. I have never fished Nancy before but have heared of some nice pike that have came out of there. :19:

If anyone plans to or may spend the night on this trip keep us in the loop. I would have come down to Kinik lake on friday if I had known people were camping...

I am going to run up to Nancy Lake on friday to check the conditions. If there is overflow I will not be going. I will post on Friday with more info.

im supposed to be going to figure 8 saturday and i thought id swing out to nancy on sunday. a little worried about flowing water on the little su and wondering about overflow myself. i guess ill find out. you just never know, it could be great conditions and a fabulous trip.

For as much water as Big Lake has on it, I doubt Nancy lake will be much better.

Yeah... moving water right now will probably be especially sketchy. Did you see the recovery we had to do out at Knik (http://www.matsuvalleyohv.com/vbforum/showthread.php?p=3120#post3120) this last monday? Did not look so good...

i went down to burma landing today. i went much further than i think i was supposed to or allowed to??? there was a big burm across the entrance but it was broken down. i just went on through thinking this is a road... its a trail... i made it all the way to the gaurd shack before the trail was definately a trail and it took me awhile to turn around and get the heck out of there. i was waiting for the truck to sink in and id be stuck out there. unlike my luck though i got it turned around and got the heck of out there, no problem. my lucky day! :50:

stopped at the store and talked to jeff. he says people are going out there everyday so river crossing isnt an issue. quite a few truck and trailers in the parking lot along with a trooper. so a lot of people are definately out there wether they went to fig 8 or flathorn is unknown. either way id guess is good. snow machines are hitting grass and four wheelers are running in deep snow so its a trade off on your mode of transportation.
