had a great turn out for such a short trip ..with good folks and well built rigs . snow was 3 feet deep and depper in most areas .. with grape ape breaking trail ..
we had tony in his 460 and 44 shoed bronco , joe in his 38 in boggered sammi on yota axles .. akwhhelin78 in his full size bronco on 35inch boggers , nate in his 44 shoed f250 superman , grape ape in his 40 inch boggers and 1 ton axled doge 1500jason in his killer f250 in a 1 ton axled titan shoed buggy ,and myself in a 85 yota ..
for what i understand as soon as we hit the trail head joe broke a high pressure steering line .. tony turned around and helped him get on the trail .
as we hit the 1st hill climp nate in superman broke a axle shaft on the drivers side tony tried to turn around and got himself stuck ..
I was in the second group trying to winch the bronco out of a snowy grave we got him almost turned around when the front end started popping and dragging ..i think he either broke a inner shaft or his ring and pinion on his front diff ..
the dodge was working it hard to turn around and overheated real bad ..

so once we got turned around i was up front with jason pulling the bronco with his f250 on ags .. he did great till a sharp corner going down hill and and the bronco had to stop for nate up front ..with no momemtum the bronco dug in deep and against a pine tree ..so after some fancy winching from jason the bronco was back on the hard pack and moving only to stop a hundred yards further because jason snapped a axle shaft ..

so that left us with 3 broken axles .. after we helped jason back to the trail head we headed back in to help get the bronco out ..
after some more winching to get the bronco back on the trail , tony towed him out to the trail head ..
on the way out we ran into grape ape who had slipped off the trail and high centered his fuel tank on a stump and left this ..

tony towed grape ape to his trailer and towed him to nates shop and jason made it home safe as well did the old bronco ..
thanks for a fun trip ..
