Someday maybe... but highly unlikely, improbable, etc. If a full on assault ever took place against our Fed by it's citizens, I don't see how any of the possible outcomes could be positive. The structure is already in place to resolve our countries current issues. VOTE. PAY ATTENTION TO WHO YOU'RE VOTING FOR.
I believe there would be mass succession (SP?) throughout the states before there would be any kind of assault by force against the Fed.

nothing positive would come of it,just like nothing positive came from the civil war. it probably bemore of a small area conflict rather than a large scale one.like what is happening in iraq or afganistan.
but something needs to be done abut the federal goverment and to some extent the local ones.voting doesnt seem to be working very well at this time and the courts are not doing much to back up the constitution.

Yeah.. I guess I should have clarified the purpose of this post. I wanted to get some input from someone IN Kenai, who may have more info regarding this. Maybe had attended it to clarify. ADN is a junk rag as far as I'm concerned, I just heard mention of it on the national news, and looked it up.

Don't get me wrong. If the Tyrannical Gov comes knocking on my door demanding my weapons, they will get them, just not the end they're anticipating. Then again, by the time they get to my house, I'm certain they will be anticipating it...lol
I believe there is a place and scenario where "Taking up arms to replenish the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots and tyrants... " etc. I just don't think that we are anywhere near that scenario right now. I don't think we're in the same planetary system as that scenario.
That being said, I do have my SHTF stash... but again, its a matter of maintaining hope for the best, while preparing for the worst. The tricky part is balancing those two notions IMO.

I think you know well enough that the Feds would never allow a state to succeed. that is just the way it is.
