i just recieved the following email:
"Dear Fellow Alaskan,
[DNR is redoing the area plan. You can look at it until 5/5/10. This area is most of the borough, except the KRPUA and the Hatcher Pass Management Plan (also under revision), which each have their own plan. You can look at the plan at http://www.dnr.state.ak.us/mlw/planning or ask DNR directly, or go to the library. The public meetings are as follows:] . . . .
ANCHORAGE -- Tuesday, March 30 from 6:00-8:30 pm at the Atwood Building, 550 West 7th Ave., Suite 240 . . . .
[Or you can send written comments to DNR.]
Sincerely,
Ray Burger
Project Manager
"
I would suggest all who are interested in being heard on the matsu plan read the plan and go to the meeting or submit your comments in written form and make your love for wheeling in the borough heard. chances to directly effect decisions like this only come by once in a while and it is crucial we all participate to keep our great state and wheeling community in the view of the people that make the decisions.
Thanks,
Ryan
