If the weather holds warm like it's been, I'd like to do an overnighter out at Knik the weekend of the 10th (Sat to Sunday). I imagine the temps at night will get down to 30+ overnight, but thats pretty reasonable IMO.

If you are interested, post up... I would like to head out early saturday (noon or so), go setup camp out passed wolf point a bit near the tree line, and continue out to the glacier, do some shooting maybe?, then head back to camp... do the camping thing (Food, beers, fire, etc.) and head out Sunday after a nice day of sleeping in a bit and a good breakfast.... :40:

There will still be snow on the ground, so be sure to bring a good size tarp to put under your tent (If you are tenting it), unless you have a 4 season tent. If you guys kick in for a good dinner, I'll make sure Breakfast is not to be missed :nono:

I got everything to cook... you guys just need to figure out what you want to cook... burgers, steaks, dogs, fettuccine, mac and cheese, a turkey, chicken nuggets, chilli, roast, duck, moose anything, etc. It don't matter, if it can be cooked, it will be cooked, and it will be amazing.

Well... if the weather stays good for a week or so, most of that should be gone. There will still be snow for sure in the tree line, but creeks and such should start opening up... if it still shitty out there next weekend, we'll wait till the following weekend I guess :cheers2:

OK... so as of now this is on. WEATHER PERMITTING! I am not going out there to sit under a tarp with it being rainy/windy and 40*.

If it's looking good Saturday at noon... then head out. I'll be at the pavilion parkinglot at around 1 if weather holds. If weather is not decent, then we'll plan for next weekend. :cryin:
