Hey guys, My name is Chris I Just bought a house on Church and Pittman about two years ago. Ive seen your rigs on the way out to Baldi and would love to explore the area up there, but I don't wanna try my luck on my own. If you guys don't mind I would Love to tag along when the snow melts. My rig is a 75 cj5 on 33's (not OHV size but work in progress).

Looks like youve got about everything you could need. I would just suggest some new more aggresive tires, when money permits. If you could fit some 35 inch tsls or like wise tires you could prob do more than half the trails we do like it is now. And i'm doin a dana 60 swap right now over in palmer if you find yourself bored.:cheers2:

Even better, I never liked the drama that some of the clubs create.

being a cj-5 33 boggers would do nice as well or ltb swampers are cheap and very strong for a small rig like that .. i would take my tacoma thru crazy crap with 33x10.50 boggers being locked front and rear .. your alot lighter and being so short break over wont be an issue ..

does that cj run the v-6 dauntless ?

I've got a 258 I6 with a T14a 3 speed and a twin stick Dana 20. I've always wanted a SBC in it but with that comes bigger running gear and alot of broken parts.

258 is still a good motor carb sucks nuts ..but the motor is good i raced mine in germany with a offenhauser intake and cliffords head and weber 2 barrel did awsome .

i have a bunch of 258 caps and rotor and spare belts if u want them .

Saw a few board member out on church road today, thanks for the offer to help out but I've been itching to use this new winch. Worked great, Now I just need to get the wife to run the cable for me! I also tested out the new motorcraft carb. Not sure I like the open filter tho…
