To weld or not to weld.
Obviously for sure going to weld the rear.
My push pull steering did pretty awesome today:dita:
So i'm just looking for some suggestions of wether I should go ahead and weld the front?
Won't be able to go high steer with hydro assist till next fall!
By the way running 38.5 TSLs dana 60 4.10s

I'd stay away from welding the front at this piont. You have a weak link with the push/pull set up. So when you weld the front you will be placing a much great amount of force on that link. Which if you break will force you to go high steer, anyway. The other draw back is with out hydro assist you constantly going to be over heating the power steering fluid which possible could be resolved with a large cooler. If you plan on driving this thing to the trail you are going to kill u-joints, ball joint, the steering linkage and your tires. Wheel it as a 3 wheeler for the time being till you can do things right. You will cost yourself in the long run if you weld the front, but all that is just my opinion. But if you looking to progress you project along by all means weld the front.:biggrin5:

Weld the rear and large amount of throttle for time being! Then 0X and high steer next fall maybe earlier.

keep the front open lock the rear . your truck opens up real nice now i think it will do very well with a open front and you wont breal near as much ..

drop-in for the front, don't weld it man. When I have my E-locker locked it's tough with no hydro
