Deep Creek Memorial weekend

was alot of fun, the weather was awesome. lots of clams and not the little ones people are talking about. our clams were the same size they have always been. neighbors at the camping park clammed Clam Gulch and they said clams were everywhere but they were all small. i also got an invite to go fishing with the neighbor (Ted). we went trolling for kings for hours... 50 boats or so out there. didnt see a single king caught. every boat had all their lines in the water. nobody at the campground had a king. never saw a king in the river either.... so after not catching any kings i was taken to a Halibut hole where things were fast and furious. 6 people on the boat taking turns bringing them in, it was fun.

i do have a few pics posted... nothing spectacular i have a lot of video to go through and put together something. the videos contain fresh oysters in a half shell along with halibut fishing. im so busy lately finding time is a major production.

Looks like you all had a great time. Sucks no kings though. I will probably head back to Seward area around Fathers Day for some more Halibut fishing as well. I need to prep my RV for a road trip:auto:

funny thing happened i found out this morning... while we were on our trip a concerned person frantically called the radio station telling them they found the truck with the matching plates at a deep creek campground and were staring at it while talking to them on the phone asking if they should call the cops! kathy told them to ask me cause im probably standing next to the truck... haha
