Meet and Greet is this weekend. There are last minute details that need to be taken care of.

We need to have volunteers step up for the following positions. We are going to have sign up sheets at the registration booth for 2 hr blocks. This way everyone has an opportunity to enjoy the Meet and Greet and we don’t have a few people working the entire event.

Registration Booth
Obstacle Course Judge
Food Preparation (Grill master and setting out/warming up food)
Mud Pit timing and measuring
Raffle booth
Vehicle inspector (battery tie down, tow points, seat belts, fire extinguisher, etc)
And we may need help with the RTI Ramp

We also are looking to borrow or rent the following items
Bull Horn for announcements(We have a smaller one but I like to be loud)
Fire extinguishers for the judges/safety team
Burn Barrel and someone with a valid burn permit to be responsible for the bonfire Saturday night.
Large gas grill for burgers and dogs at lunch on Saturday (party size grill)
Large coolers for drinks/food
Large tape measure for mud pit distance? 100-300’
2" water hose (diameter) 100-200' long? to keep the mud pit soaked and provide water for fire if needed.
raffle barrel to mix up the tickets

Saturday lunch will be Pot Luck Style. AKX is providing Burgers, dogs, buns, condiments, plates, and plastic forks/spoons. Please bring a side dish or desert to go with lunch. This would be a great time to provide a “camp specialty”

Logistics stuff
Trailers will be parked outside of the event just before the entrance in a parking lot.

Wristbands will be issued to everyone upon entry to identify whether you are a driver or an attendee to the Meet and Greet. This is your ticket to the obstacle course, mud pits, lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Please wear it at all times.

Are there any more details on WHEN these positions will need to be manned? Or will that be determined upon registration...

I don't mean to toot my own horn, but I can cook meat with the best of them. I am sure i'm capable of the other tasks as well... However, I will only be out there Saturday (And thats only if everything works out on the home front).

I'm down to help, but it will have to take place on Saturday, and times will need to be set for when/what/where.

Great question.
Registration Booth will be all day Friday. Grill master will be just for lunch hour on Saturday. The Obstacle course will run through most of Satuday, the RTI ramp is Saturday evening. The timed mud runs will be Sunday morning.

The mud pits will be part of the obstacle course throughout the day on Saturday. The mud competition will be on Sunday AM. For those who don't want to run the pits, they can hit the trails....literally... :)

We also need a couple gas grill to cook lunch on. I'd say 2 big ones or 3 smaller grills?

Unless someone has a "super cooker"?

Anyone know where the big burn barrel we have used in the past is?
