I've been looking Treadwright (http://www.treadwright.com/shopnow/product/tabid/61/productid/77/sename/31575r16-guard-dog.aspx) retread tires as a cheap alternative. The smaller versions have gotten good reviews for the last couple of years. Bang for the buck, they seem like a great buy, and the kedge grip seems like a nice selling point. You supposedly can get matching carcasses (like all BFG's etc...). These are probably not good for those 1 ton trucks hauling stuff despite the E rating on some of them. I did come across some issues with folks and heavy loads (tires popping under big loads), but for wheeling, jeeps, etc, I've come across nothing but good.
I'm curious if anyone has ever actually had a set of these shipped up (in a smaller size since these aren't out yet) and what did they think?

If there's interest and they actually start making the 35" size (almost tempted to just get 33's, but I know I'd regret it), we could probably split up a shipment and save a bundle.
