I got these tail lights from DT Moto on Ebay. These are a very simple install. But mine came with two issues. First was the fact that the reverse light recepticle was the wrong type. The LED lights used the same style connector for the the reverse lamp as they would for the brake lamp. Which are two seperate types. Pictures below will explain better. Second issue was the clips used to screw the light to the body. They were cheap pieces of crap from ching chow china. So I just replaced them with the stock ones of the stock lights. Again, pics will explain better.

Tools needed (assuming youre lights were built right): One medium sized Phillips screwdriver. Yep, thats all.

First thing to do is lower youre tailgate. (there is a handle in the center for you retards out there, lol)

Next, use youre one and only screwdriver to remove the two black screws that hold the tail light in.

Then pull the tail light out (may take some effort as there are pins holding it to the body).

Remove the lights. Mine came with a cap for one of the tail lights (there are two tail lights and one reverse light). You will only use one tail light.

Be sure to use the right one (for me it was the lower one.)

When plugging the tail light harness to the LED pig tail, be sure you have the lights on so you know the pig tail is plugged in right (they have offset pins but plug in both ways). Once you do that, plug that whole deal into the tail light.

Then do the same for the reverse light.

Push the whole assembly into the truck, then reinstall the screws and BAM, you are fuggin done. Pics.......

So here is what I had to deal with, this pic shows the difference between what the reverse light is, and what the tail light will accept.

So what I did here, is this... I found an early (mid 80s style) Chevy marker light, they used the same style marker plug. Then I cut the surface off, rounded it off, painted it black, then super glued it to the Tail light assembly, followed by using some silicone around the edges for a good seal.
