Favorite CC handgun

What's your favorite CC gun? I had a Taurus PT140 that was an excellent carry gun but sold it now I carry my old standby, a Gov. model Springfield .45

I really like the Kahr compacts but have never owned one.

I like my SIG P226 45. w/ night sights carried in a IPW leather holster.
Thinking of picking up a 2inch Taurus judge and carrying that for a while. 410./45LR could do some damage.

Right now I carry a Taurus 709 "slim" it's a perfect carry gun. Really light and not bulky at all. I also like my Taurus 111 too.

My wife got me a kahr pm45 for our one year Anneversary and I love it. It is about tue size of my wallet shoots a 45 and is still manageable. Also still carries 6+1.

They are a little spendy but definatley worth it.

I had a Glock 27 in 40 SM and loved it. I gave the pistol to my dad and its the pistol he ever had and he also loves it. My next Glock will be the Glock 22 in 10mm.

I love my Springfield XD Compact in the .45ACP flavor. It's good when doing normal running around where I have a larger jacket. But, it leaves much to be desired in the way of conceal ability when wearing a suit or just tee shirt and jeans. I have been looking at getting an LCR or LCP, then came across the LC9. Just a tad larger than an LCP, and in 9mm Luger. The gun is about the size of my palm, and very thin (single stack mag).'would be a great pocket/boot gun for those days where I'm not wearing a jacket, and CC is important.

Glock30 is a bit big, but I'm used to it. If I lived somewhere hot, concealment might be more of an issue. IWB Desantis is pretty lo-pro, even with a double-stack.

BTW, I love the trigger on the XD! My buddy has one, and shooting it next to my plastic gun makes the 30 feel like dragging a hammer through a box of rocks.

Right now it's a Kimber Tactical Pro II, but currently working on adding a short barreled 500 to the mix!
