Well not too much done, need to get out a torch and cut a couple brackets off the rear axle. Its fully striped now. I went ahead and ordered my ARB and 4.88's with master install kit. Should be in some time next week.
I still need to find a topshift case to start building dual ultimates.

Well My D70 ARB came in today along with its 4.88 gears and master install. I will be setting them up shortly. Got to order the D60 ARB for the front next.
My plan is to start cutting on this thing 1 April.

ray what are you going to do with that much low range in alaska ? main reason i have not installed the 4.7 case yet is im affraid id be to slow at 90:1

with the 4.88 and stock case i really like it enough grunt to pop over stuff with control yet still be able to spin up thru the mud ..

keep one case stock then the other 4.7 u can have best of both worlds .

Thats what im doing. It will be like having 3 cases packed into 2cases. I will have all 3 options, from stock 2.28(front case) to 4.7(rear case) to 10.7(both cases in low)

Well i went out and got the ARB compressor mounted today. Then i decided i was going to do the bed bob. I cut it 13 1/4". Cutting that much out will allow me to put a double cab topper on it if i choose to do so down the road.

measured it out and taped it off. Painted (excesivly, testing a poss color for the rig) so that i had nice lines to follow for the cut.

Used a angle grinder with cut off wheel and cut back off first.

Next removed the middle section and re installed the back tail gate/light portion.

It turned out pretty good. didnt have too much grinding to do. got a couple spots to work out. The dent was the hardest part to work. Just got to finish cleaning it up and then apply the hurculiner that i got to do the inside of the bed and from the body line down.

Hoping tomarrow to put a trans in the red toy of ryans and then hopefully mount the front spring hanger. Just waiting on my flanges from High Angle Drivelines so i can build the 70 and still got to order the ARB for the 60. If all goes right Weds night i shall be cutting.

Extended cab with a 4ft bed would be sweet.

I started building a rear bumper. Not done yet, little more welding. I kept it fairly simple. I will take pics later.
